This is my first time getting a professional home inspection. His response was reasonably fast and it did not take a lot of effort to schedule an inspection not too many days ahead.He appears to be passionate about his inspections. I went through some videos of a course more than half a year back on the ASHI standards with an instructor in Chicago and I know there are some differences between ASHI and InterNACHI standards though I'm not knowledgeable of most of them. He also gave me a few recommendations in the report (in general recommendations don't have to be added in the report) which I appreciated.Throughout my inspection he used tools such as infrared and a tool to check carbon monoxide levels which I recall were not a requirement by the ASHI standards (I highly doubt it would be for any standard). He also took the time to explain to me how to interpret the data and most of it was alongside what I would have expected. I definitely appreciate that since it filled the gaps and also learned something for myself. I learned a few other things in the process.As for some traditional inspection stuff (where you get touchy with some plumbing fixtures, for example). I did expect him to do some of that but I think it was understood that I checked most of that when I inspected the property prior myself since I already mentioned to him I took a course (and he saw I had some instruments too :)). So I'm fine with that. In most of the cases, he used an alternative approach that would catch most of the same issues.Overall, it was a great experience. Although I have not worked with any other inspectors before I would highly recommend Dale for your inspection.

Seriously impressed with how thorough, knowledgeable and professional Dale is. He came out on short notice on a frigid day (-40C windchill) with a smile, dressed and equipped to be ready for anything.He took the time to go through everything, every appliance, every switch, every circuit, every foot of the interior and exterior, happy to explain and answer every single question asked in great detail, drawing on an obviously immense pool of experience and providing multiple perspectives on things without bias.The report came out same day and I was able to make a decisive and informed decision for home purchasing without any uncertainties or fears that anything was missed.I look forward to calling upon Dale again, and will happily refer him to all my friends in the Calgary area!

Dale did a home inspection for our new condo in lower Mount Royal. We loved the flat rate of his condo inspection fee, but do not think that his lower rate denotes his level of quality and service! He was so thorough and so professional, he spoke to me and not just my husband, which I really appreciated! He even had us look into his moisture camera and explained what we were seeing! Amazing! 10/10 recommend!!

Dale was amazing! He was so thorough while looking over the house. Then when it came to to explain what was going on, he was thorough in his explanations. He has a gentle spirit but his confidence and knowledge are extraordinary. You can tell he has much experience as it shines through in his detailed report. He put so much work in that he earned every penny...he probably could charge more for what he gives. Would recommend him to anyone looking to get a home inspection and have confidence in the outcome. We looked through about 20 different inspectors to try and decide who to hire for our first home inspection. Dale was the only one who really made an effort to reach out, answer questions, and chat about the inspection more with us. Which we appreciated so much as we haven’t done this before. Dale was super informative and detailed during the inspection and gave us lots of suggestions and advice on how to go dealing with repairs around the house. We received our report by 10AM the next morning and was very detailed as well. I have a lot of friends who have bought homes in the last few years and had terrible inspections so we were very nervous choosing an inspector. But I will absolutely only ever using Dale in the future and recommending Wild Rose Property Inspections to everyone and we are so very grateful for his time and assistance buying our first home!

I wanted a Property Inspection service for our home ahead of planned construction on the adjacent empty lot to serve as a record of current condition( in case of any issues experienced during the construction). So a slightly unusual service request. Dale was very responsive and flexible in discussing and planning the inspection up front . During the inspection he was extremely knowledgeable and professional and flexible in adjusting his approach to meet our particular focus for the inspection. Dale was very thorough as he helped us in inspecting a home we are looking to purchase. He went through all the details about potential issues, explained to us mitigation measures we could put in place to help resolve any issues observed and also suggested some changes we could make to help make the home more to our expectations. He answered all my questions patiently and even shared some great restaurant recommendations which I am sure to be checking out. My wife and I purchased a house and needed a home inspection completed. After a consult with Wild Rose Property Inspections we need that they were the right choice. The house we purchased had a wood foundation and it was very hard to find someone with expertise in this area. Dale did a very thorough inspection and found some issues with the house which led to us retracting our offer on the house. If not for Dale we would have purchased a house with a lot of issues. Any time in the future that I need a home inspection I will be using Wild Rose Property Inspections. Thanks a lot Dale for an awesome job! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!

I met Dale while he inspected a property for my mother while she plans her cross Canada move. I have used Dale recently for a personal home purchase inspection, he was no less than great. I was in a pinch and needed someone short notice, I called him and we set up for the very next day at 630pm! He showed up early and went right to work. He was very thorough and communicative. He takes pride in what he does and makes sure he doesn't miss a thing. I was very impressed by his attentiveness and the process down to the smallest detail.
